North Chicago Fire Department Proudly Announces Promotions

The City of North Chicago recently celebrated the well-earned promotions of three exceptional members of the North Chicago Fire Department whose dedication, leadership, and commitment to our community exemplify the very best of the fire service profession.

⭐ Thomas Deinken earned the promotion to Deputy Chief, becoming the first Deputy Chief appointed by the North Chicago Fire Department in 35 years. This promotion reflects outstanding service, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the department and the citizens we proudly serve.

⭐ Reid Mammoser earned the promotion to Battalion Chief. Throughout his career, Reid has consistently demonstrated professionalism, sound leadership, and a steadfast dedication to serving both our firefighters and our community.

⭐ Timothy Kluchka earned the promotion to Lieutenant. His hard work and passion for the fire service prepared him to lead the next generation of firefighters.

According to North Chicago Fire Chief, John Umek, “Each of these officers has answered the call with dignity, pride, and a genuine love for the fire service. Their promotions are a testament to years of sacrifice, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence.
