Public Works

The City of North Chicago Public Works Department exists to maintain and improve the quality of life for the citizens and users of the City through the sustainment of the public infrastructure. Through its dedicated employees and the use of technological innovation, community partnerships, and professional standards, we seek to preserve these assets for succeeding generations in a prompt, courteous, safe, efficient, and cost effective manner.

The Public Works Department is divided into three divisions: Engineering, Streets and Utilities, Stormwater and Water.
