The City of North Chicago is developing a new Appearance Code to help guide the look and feel of future non-residential developments to ensure that the quality and aesthetic of future developments match North Chicago’s community values and vision. Your voice is essential in shaping the guidelines.
Examples of the types of regulations which may be considered include permitted exterior building materials, exterior colors, window placements, entrance treatments, and building articulation, among many others.
