Congressman Schneider Obtains Funding for City Projects
Congressman Brad Schneider, for the Community Project Funding (CPF) within the Fiscal Year 2025 Appropriations process, obtained two major projects for the City of North Chicago.
One for $3.5 million to remove and replace water lines for residents with aging and potentially dangerous lead lines. The other $446,620 to modernize police radio technology allowing the North Chicago Police Department seamless communication with other law enforcement agencies and jurisdictions.
